When people ask me what I do, I say I show women how to be successful in business by helping them bring out their existing talents…
Sharing is in our DNA… Women are constantly talking, recommending and swapping stories about things we love. When we see a great movie, eat at a fab restaurant or read an amazing book, we immediately think “must tell my sister Grace about it”.
Women instinctively network… There’s no training required when it comes to meeting others. Women find it almost impossible to stand beside someone without striking up a conversation. You’d never hear a man say “I love your shoes!”
Mentoring comes naturally…Women are nurturers by nature, they want to help others
Women are born organisers… Most women don’t need to go to business schools to learn management techniques. If you can run a home, raise a family and organise your life, you can run a business!
Multi-Tasking is our God Given Right… What other species can clean the house, plan a shopping trip, care for kids, whilst checking emails and diarising an appointment? We do it by setting priorities and tackling the jobs that need to be done. Building a business involves juggling many balls; women can do it because we were created that way!

The BabyExpo BabyShow took place November 13 2011 in Brighton. Over 4,500 visitors from 23 counties attended and the show was opened by the wonderful Jo Tantum, national babycare expert and Phil Gallagher from Mister Maker. mumandworking sponsored the 'Flexible Working Zone' on the day and were joined by many flexible working opportunity providers
