An opportunity to run drama, music and creative play classes for children aged 2-7 years. Pyjama Drama combines the creative elements of drama, movement, music and play and has to date been enjoyed by thousands of preschool children and their parents. The programme aims to develop key skills such as concentration, confidence and co-operation, supports the current requirements of the National Curriculum and is currently taught between the ages of 2 and 7 years. Our innovative approach to improvisation and role play is child led, and our original music is skilfully integrated within sessions to enhance the creative experience and further encourage the development of key skills. Children are empowered to make decisions and to learn about consequences within the safe and supportive framework.
Investment Required: £5,850 (plus VAT) and £1,000 marketing budget in place for your launch and first year of trading.
Salary/Wage: Pyjama Drama is taught in private day nurseries, at playgroups, in infant schools, at parties and in ‘public sessions’, within the confines of a territory large enough to generate an excellent income. Fees typically range from £35 - £60 per session and from £60 – £100 for a 40 minute party. When delivering public sessions a Manager can expect a turnover of approximately £60 - £80 per session.
